5pb. Games has published the final opening for Steins;Gate Elite on their YouTube channel, and has revealed the Japanese release date for the game.
After the opening song plays, the different editions of the game are shown, as well as some included bonuses for pre-ordering the game. As previously stated, the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita editions of the game will come with Steins;Gate: Linear Bounded Phenogram as a bonus, and the Nintendo Switch edition will come with the new Steins;Gate 8-bit game.
The Japanese release date is confirmed to be September 20, 2018 for the PlayStation 4, the PlayStation Vita, and the Nintendo Switch in Japan.
The official website for Steins;Gate Elite has also been updated, including news that the game’s ending song will be sung by FES (Yui Sakakibara). No other information regarding the ending song is known currently.
In addition to this, a video containing previews of the animated routes was posted. It can be viewed below.
It has been confirmed that the game’s new scenes will be storyboarded by Kenichi Kawamura, the director of the Steins;Gate 0 anime.
As for an English release date announcement, Spike Chunsoft has yet to comment. We’ll keep you updated as more information arises on Steins;Gate Elite.
