(SciADV Fan Showcase #1 can be found here.)
Greetings everyone! It’s time for this month’s installment of the SciADV Fan Showcase! After giving it some thought, we’ve decided that this series will benefit from running monthly, rather than bi-monthly. We’ll work hard to provide you guys with the latest and greatest fan work each month!
Without further ado, let’s get right into the content.
ThiccLine – Mayuri and Lab Mems illustrations
ThiccLine is an extremely talented artist, and these two illustrations of his exude auras of hard work and dedication. The bright blue coloring used in the first illustration perfectly encapsulates Mayuri’s cheerful personality, while the second illustration’s use of somber colors and lighting does a great job at depicting Steins;Gate 0’s overall mood.
The Mayuri illustration also reminded us of a certain other character…
ThiccLine’s Instagram page can be found here. The original posts can be found here and here. Be sure to check out his other work!
torofu – “Fake me” SciADV Trap Remix
On the musical side of creativity, community member torofu has created an awesome trap remix of “Fake me,” an opening song from Chaos;Head Noah. We found this remix to be incredibly catchy, and a unique take on the original opening song.
This remix was created in honor of Operation HiddenHand, a new SciADV community effort encouraging official translations and worldwide releases of various untranslated Science Adventure titles. torofu’s SoundCloud account can be found here, and his Twitter account here. Go check out his other work!
UGamer81 – Hououin Kyouma illustration
UGamer81’s sketch of Hououin Kyouma is truly something to fall in love with. Kyouma’s stature, signature pose, and facial features are all perfectly recreated in this illustration. Additionally, the text found to the right and behind Kyouma is drawn and styled in a very fitting way, almost as if Kyouma himself wrote on the page.

That’ll be it for this month’s showcase. Thank you for tuning in everyone, and we’ll see you again for next month’s installment!
