Community member ghostryder333 has released a fan project titled “The Distant Valhalla: Valkyrie’s Rebirth“. This project adapts the official Steins;Gate light novel “The Distant Valhalla” into a visual novel format, and implements several new features that make the story more enjoyable and interactive. The premise of the story is as follows: After failing to prevent Mayuri’s death on that fateful day, Okabe gave up and allowed SERN to capture him, as well as Kurisu and Daru. A year and a half later, Okabe and Daru devise a plan to escape their confinement, SERN’s base of operations. However, their plans will not go as smoothly as they hoped…
