Hey everybody, we’re back with another SciADV Fan Showcase! As always, the previous part can be found here.
mewsic – Steins;Gate song covers
Among those who cover anime-related songs on YouTube, mewsic is a shining star. She boasts a wide singing range that can fit many tones or moods. Additionally, songs that were originally sung in Japanese are given fitting and relevant English lyrics in mewsic’s covers.
Though we’ve only listed four songs here, mewsic has covered quite a few more Steins;Gate songs, in addition to other anime-related songs. You can check them out on her YouTube channel.

PaulDraws has created an awesome piece of Steins;Gate art. Not only are the characters very well-drawn, but the piece’s usage of colors and shading is very unique. All of these factors in combination truly allow the piece to come alive. I’m especially fond of Okabe’s unique pose, and the placement of the gears.
Paul’s other artwork can be found on his Twitter and Instagram. Go check his stuff out!
ThaRemo – Worldline site
Our final piece comes from ThaRemo, who has created an interesting site that everyone can interact with.
On the site, any user can interact with the plus and minus buttons, which can shift the divergence meter’s number up or down. From my personal experience, trying to get the number down to the Steins Gate worldline (1.048596%) can be difficult depending on how much higher or lower the number is. However, the beauty of the site is in that it can be interacted with by every active visitor. This means that fellow users can lend you a hand in moving the meter’s number up or down.
As shown above, the site also allows users to draw. When I was on the site, I was able to witness quite a few artists creating their own artwork, while other users scribbled or wrote text.
The site can be found here. Be sure to check it out, and invite your friends to join too!
That’ll be it for now! Tune in next month for our next installment.
