Hey everyone, we’re back with another SciADV Fan Showcase! As usual, last month’s showcase can be found here.
Note: This article may contain spoilers for the original Steins;Gate.
Niku_Senpai – Steins;Gate (0) poster
Finally posting the image for the Steins;Gate Poster! Showing off both perspectives here! Thank you all for the support and patience with this piece! I hope my love for the anime shows through #SteinsGate0 #SteinsGate pic.twitter.com/r8zDAxTspm

Just in time for the big finale of the recently concluded Steins;Gate 0 anime, Niku_Senpai bestowed this breathtaking piece of artwork upon the community. Viewed normally, this dual perspective illustration depicts the events of the Alpha attractor field—with Mayuri symbolically falling, and the lab members sporting their original outfits.
When the piece is flipped upside down, the illustration depicts imagery from the Beta attractor field. We can see Okabe desperately reaching for Kurisu’s hand, while familiar faces such Maho and Beta Suzuha occupy the background. This is truly a one-of-a-kind fanart, and it absolutely fits the themes of Steins;Gate and Steins;Gate 0.
You can follow Niku_Senpai on Twitter, Instagram and Twitch. His work can also be purchased on his website!
Kaito Cross – PhoneWave Replica
Want to build a PhoneWave (name subject to change)? Here is how it can be done! https://t.co/NXTHbbw1mw#OpHiddenHand #SteinsGate #SteinsGate0 #Cosplay
— Kaito Cross @ SPIEL '18 (@kaitocross) August 11, 2018
Now here’s the kind of fan work you won’t see every day. Kaito Cross has managed to recreate the ever-familiar PhoneWave (Name Subject to Change) in real life!
You can follow his journey through various iterations and upgrades on his blog, where he details the work that has gone into the project since 2014. In its current state, the avid time travel enthusiast can call the PhoneWave to set up a time, start the microwave, and then send an e-mail to the specified address. The e-mail’s header is manipulated to appear as if it was received in the past.
As you can see from the above picture, he can also pull off a fantastic Daru cosplay. You’ll definitely want to keep this super hacka on your radar!
You can find Kaito on Twitter (@KaitoCross) and on his personal blog, futuregadgetlab.de!

As you may already know, we’re always looking out for Science Adventure fan artists to feature in our showcases—we deeply appreciate what each of these talented folks bring to the table.
With Beere, we have yet another wonderful artist joining the ranks. Beere is an avid fan of the Science Adventure series, and we can definitely see her love for its different entries come to life through her artwork. My favorite piece has to be the amazingly creative Chaos;Child Inktober entry, which features a Gero Froggy Takuru, Serika, and a Sumo Sticker pumpkin.
In addition to her artwork, Beere also enjoys cosplaying as SciADV characters! Surely, we’ll see more of her dedicated fan work here in the future.
Beere’s art account is still pretty new, so be sure to show some love! Give her a follow to stay up to date with her latest work.
That’ll be it for now. Tune in next month for our next installment!
