Earlier today, the official Science Adventure Twitter account announced the Amadeus Kurisu Realization Project, developed by MAGES. in collaboration with the NTT Media Intelligence Laboratory and Dwango.
This seems to be a project that aims to make a “true” artificial intelligence based off Kurisu’s personality. This personality will be recreated using crowdsourced data based off submissions by applicants to the project.
The project invites testers to ask “Kurisu” questions, and respond to other applicants’ questions in a Kurisu-like manner as well as vote on other testers’ replies. The official website explains that as more and more samples are gathered and voted on, the AI will improve. This, in conjunction with the fact that the replies are being rated, is strongly hinting towards the project internally using Artificial Neural Networks.
Applications are currently being accepted for the project, and the deadline to submit an application is Wednesday, September 18th, 2019 at 6 PM JST.
There seems to be two ways to get access, one is to apply through the website where people will randomly be selected for the project. If you’re accepted, you will get a link with further instructions in your e-mail inbox. The other way to get access is through one’s Adult Science Radio Niconico channel membership, which seems to allow one to skip the application process entirely.
