Via the Science Adventure Twitter account, the Steins;Gate/Sanrio collaboration project will be receiving limited-time merchandise exclusive to Animate beginning in July. Two new visuals have also been provided to promote the project:
According to the official website, the merchandise shop will be exclusive to the Animate location in Akihabara, and the related merchandise will be sold between July 23 and August 9. Specifics on what kind of merchandise will be sold have not been provided yet, but the website states that more information is coming soon.
This news follows the completion of the first part of the project in April. A free prologue visual novel depicting a chance encounter between Hello Kitty and the lab members was made available in Japanese.
UPDATE: As of July 17, the project’s website has been updated to list the merchandise that will be sold at the shop. This includes (but is not limited to) themed smartphone stands, smartphone cases, ballpoint pens, tapestries, and more.
