MAGES. has revealed two brand new trailers for Anonymous;Code and Steins;Gate 0 Elite via a livestream. They are available to view below.
The Anonymous;Code segment of the stream has given us a bit of new information. Notably, the game now has a new expected release window: Fall 2021. Though there were initially plans to release the game on Vita, it seems that that version of the game is now canceled.
It was confirmed in MAGES.’ second stream that the development of Anonymous;Code is 50% done, and Shikura believes that the rest can be finished within a year. It was implied that the scenario (i.e. the story script) is already complete, and the remaining work to be done does not involve the scenario.
In regards to Steins;Gate 0 Elite, it was seemingly implied by SciADV producer Tatsuya Matsubara that, unlike Steins;Gate Elite, Steins;Gate 0 Elite will be following the anime plotline except in animated visual novel format. The info presented was a bit vague and is not necessarily 100% confirmed.
According to Matsubara, the reasoning for this is that the Steins;Gate 0 anime does not overlap well with the visual novel, unlike the situation with Steins;Gate’s anime and visual novel. Therefore, the approach they took with Steins;Gate Elite isn’t very applicable to 0 Elite.
