Readers may remember when, in November, we reported that the upcoming release of the Chaos; Double Pack, featuring both Chaos;Head NoAH and Chaos;Child, would come with exclusive preorder bonuses depending on the customer’s chosen retailer.
Notably, the artwork used for most of these preorder bonuses have received light updates, mainly to add background patterns. We have attached the sample artwork provided on the official website below.
The MAGES. ONLINE SHOP preorder bonus, a B1-sized tapestry of the collection’s cover artwork, also received an update on December 16—specifically, its preview was modified to feature only Rimi Sakihata and Serika Onoe, whereas it previously featured both Takumi Nishijou and Takuru Miyashiro in addition to the two heroines.

Perhaps due to the disappointment expressed online by Japanese and worldwide fans alike, this change was officially reverted on December 20, 2021.
