Kiri Kiri Basara started in February 2018 as a small SciADV news provider, and over time, we have expanded our scope to include reviews, game guides, and interviews as well. For those looking to get into the series, we also provide general, introductory information on SciADV and its titles.

Our mission is to report on the latest series news to keep English-speaking fans up to date on all recent SciADV happenings.

The name “Kiri Kiri Basara” originates from one of entries in the series, Occultic;Nine. In Occultic;Nine, protagonist Yuta Gamon owns and operates a blog called Kiri Kiri Basara, which focuses on debunking supernatural and occult-related news.

When the Occultic;Nine light novels were adapted into an anime, the website domain was revealed to be kirikiribasara.com.
